Prayer won’t help you any more than wishing on a star will help you. However, this film comes from the makers of nonsensical Christian rubbish like Miracles Can Happen.
In this film, however, Brian Smith (Josh Lucas) drowned in Lake St. Louis, at the age of 14, and was dead for nearly an hour. According to reports at the time, CPR was performed 27 minutes to no avail. Then Brian’s mother, Joyce (Chrissy Metz), entered the room, praying loudly. Suddenly, there was a pulse, and Brian came around…
Er… yeaaaaaaah… but apparently this is based on a true story.
