Following the successful Wainwright Walks and Railway Walks series and most recently German Wanderlust Acorn Media is delighted to announce the release of Canal Walks with Julia Bradbury on DVD on 6 June 2011.
Seasoned stomper Julia Bradbury dons her walking boots once again to explore the canals of Britain and their towpath trails. Four walks lead to a hidden network of locks, bridges, aqueducts and tunnels, perfect for exploring on foot.
Julia Bradbury has built a reputation as the face of the outdoors that began when she presented the hugely successful Wainwright Walks with DVD sales beyond the 70,000 units mark. Bradbury is also known for her TV partnership with Matt Baker on Countryfile with ratings reaching more than 7 million viewers.
Bradbury explores some of Britain’s most beautiful canals including North Wales Llangollen Canal, Highlands Caledonian Canal, Worcester and Birmingham Canal and Bath Kennet and Avon Canal.
Canal Walks with Julia Bradbury gives an insight into Britain’s industrial heritage, cutting a sedate path through some of the country’s finest scenery.
