Music chart summary: w/e July 10th 2010…
This week, the No.1 stayed with the mediocre track from faux-lesbian bug-eyed annoyance Katy Perry alongside Snoop Dogg, with California Gurls. On the plus side, Kylie’s All The Lovers jumped up from No.6 to No.3, beating itsoriginal No.4 entry, ahead of the release this week of her latest album, Aphrodite.
Meanwhile, there are new entries for Enrique Iglesias’ I Like It (No.4), Rescue Me from Skepta, whateverthat is (No.14), and Justin Bieber’s Somebody To Love (No.33). Thankfully, this track from the 5-year-old hasnothing to do with the Queen classic.
In the album charts, Eminem retains the No.1 slot with Recovery, while the Scissor Sisters haveto make do with No.2 for Night Work, their latest release.
The only other new entries come from Zero 7‘s ‘best of’, Record at No.61 andBombay Bicycle Club‘s I Had The Blues, But I Shook Them Loose at No.67.
The new release dates for singles and albums can be foundHEREand they go up to early September 2010.
