Yes, zombie films have been done to death – no pun intended, but I don’t think we’ve had kids demolishing adults before. Not exclusively, anyway.
A mysterious virus hits an isolated elementary school, transforming the kids into a feral swarm of mass savages. An unlikely hero must lead a motley band of teachers in the fight of their lives.
The film stars Elijah Wood, Alison Pill, Rainn Wilson, Sunny May Allison, and the bizarrely-named Armani Jackson, and looks hilarious.
At the moment, Cooties has a release date for the US – September 18th, so hopefully one for the UK will be made available soon.
