Danger Mouse – new 2015 Series Teaser – CBBC

danger-mouseDanger Mouse was one of my favourite cartoons back in the early 80s when I was a child, and now he’s back for a new generation.

Back then, he was voiced by David Jason with Penfold’s voice provided by the late, great Terry Scott. For this new series, the voices come respectively from Pointless host and Have I Got News For You regular Alexander Armstrong, as well as the actor Kevin Eldon (It’s Kevin, Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle and This Morning With Richard Not Judy).

Danger Mouse’s mortal enemy, Baron Silas Greenback, has yet to be revealed in voice terms, but other names attached to this project are Morwenna Banks, Shauna Macdonald as Professor Squawkencluck and Dave Lamb as The Narrator.

Danger Mouse is premieres on CBBC, also available in HD, in September this year, with the exact date yet to bet set. There will be 52 episodes of 11 minutes each. So that’s nice and exact, then.
