Season 3 for me and many other fans of the show,was the best of the four that were made. It features many of the greatest everepisodes and there is not one poor episode in this set of 22.

The episodes are ‘Amazon Women In The Mood’, ‘Parasites Lost’, ‘A Tale OfTwo Santas’, ‘The Luck Of The Fryrish’, ‘The Birdbot Of Ice-Catraz’, ‘BendlessLove’, ‘The Day The Earth Stood Stupid’, ‘That’s Lobstertainment’, ‘The CyberHouse Rules’, ‘Where The Buggalo Roam’, ‘Insane In The Mainframe’, ‘The RouteOf All Evil’, ‘Bendin’ In The Wind’, ‘Time Keeps On Slipping’, ‘I Dated A Robot’,’A Leela Of Her Own’, ‘A Pharaoh To Remember’, ‘Anthology Of Interest – Part 3′,’Roswell That Ends Well’, ‘Godfellas’, ‘Future Stock’ and ‘The 30% IronChef’.

The episodes are without a doubt the best of Futurama with highlights includingthe hilarious ‘Amazon Women In The Mood’ and the very sad ‘The LuckOf The Fryrish’. I was almost driven to tears by both these episodes, onewith laughter and the other with sadness.

The picture as always is clear and sharp and a slight improvement on lastseason. The sound is still only Dolby Digital 2.0 so no real improvement.Extras-wise at last Fox has put some real effort in amd included 23 commentaries,one each and a bonus one for the Emmy-winnning ‘Roswell That Ends Well’,which talks about the animation process. The other amazing feature is the 3Dmodel sequences that look at the layers of 3D animation. This is a must buyfor all Futurama and sci-fi fans!
