Finding Ohana is a forthcoming Netflix film starring Kelly Hu and Ke Huy Quan, best known as Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Synopsis: A summer in rural O‘ahu takes an exciting turn for two Brooklyn-raised siblings when a journal pointing to long-lost treasure sets them on an epic adventure with new friends, and leads them to reconnect with their Hawaiian heritage.
This looked like it could’ve been ridiculously cheesy, but based on the trailer, it looks alright.
Finding Ohana is on Netflix from Friday January 29th and a review will be online soon.
