Hell Bent is the final episode in Doctor Who Series 9 (finally!), and this concludes the final two-parter of this series, and Peter Capaldi is joined by a number of other characters on Gallifrey, including… bloody Maisie Williams again.
This time, we have a trailer, an introduction to the episode and, returning after an absence of a few weeks – Steven Moffat‘s teaser for the episode, plus a clip and… oh dear, a featurette about the director.
If you took everything from him, betrayed him, trapped him, and broke both his hearts… how far might the Doctor go?
Returning to Gallifrey, the Doctor faces the Time Lords in a struggle that will take him to the end of time itself. Who is the Hybrid? And what is the Doctor’s confession?
Hell Bent is again directed by Rachel Talalay who, in Who terms, has previously directed last year’s two-part finale, Dark Water and Death In Heaven, plus last week’s so-so Heaven Sent, and I’ve never forgiven her for her godawful feature-length debut, Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare, from 1991.
The episode also stars Donald Sumpter as The President, plus Ken Bones, T’Nia Miller, Malachi Kirby, Clare Higgins, and IMDB also lists Jenna Coleman and Michelle Gomez. We shall see…
Hell Bent is broadcast tomorrow night on BBC1 at 8.00pm, and then on BBC iPlayer afterwards.
