How To Be Single sees Rebel Wilson, as Robin, continuing her forever-unfunny schtick of “Hey, isn’t being fat a source for comedy gold?” No, it isn’t. Oh, Rebel, your Virgin Media adverts are about as funny as diarrhoea followed by constipation!
She teams up with Dakota Johnson, who plays Alice, a young woman who can’t get a boyfriend for the life of her – a total contrast from when she played Christian Grey’s plaything in Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The film takes place in New York, a cityful of lonely hearts seeking the right match. What Alice, Robin, Lucy, Meg, Tom and David all have in common is the need to learn how to be single in a world filled with ever-evolving definitions of love.
Also starring Alison Brie, Leslie Mann, Jake Lacy, Anders Holm and Let’s Be Cops‘ Damon Wayans Jr, How To Be Single is released in UK cinemas during the early crap slot of the year, on February 19th 2016.
