Itorah is a new 2.5D platformer, in which you can go back and forth along the environment, so there’s not one set path to progress down.
As you pick up health along the way, on the plus side, this game is gorgeous, since it features hand-drawn animation.
However, it does seem intent on killing you quite quickly, and gives you endless conversations where you have to press a button after each sentence. Please, just play the whole thing! That’s a bit like Anime games like Blue Reflection: Second Sight which do the same.
Overall, based on first impressions, Itorah looks fantastic, but I wasn’t gripped by the gameplay after the first level.
Itorah is available on Steam, now.
