Jack Ryan – New Amazon Prime TV series starring John Krasinski

Jack Ryan Jack Ryan is Tom Clancy’s CIA analyst who first came to the big screen in The Hunt For Red October in the guise of Alec Baldwin, then in Patriot Games and Clear And Present Danger, starring Harrison Ford. Subsequent, Ben Affleck was the character in 2002’s The Sum of All Fears, and most recently, Chris Pine portrayed him in 2013’s Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.

John Krasinski (The Hollars, 13 Hours, The Office) takes his turn to be Jack Ryan in a forthcoming new series from Amazon Prime Video, Paramount and Skydance Television, and it will film in the US, Europe and Africa.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan follows an up-and-coming CIA analyst thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. The executive producers are Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Graham Roland (Almost Human), who wrote the pilot based on a story he developed with Cuse, plus Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Marcy Ross, Lindsey Springer and Mace Neufeld.

The series follows Ryan (Krasinski, above right) as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.
