Julia (2015) stars Ashley C Williams as Julia Shames who, after suffering a brutal trauma, falls prey to an unorthodox form of therapy to restore herself. The film follows Julia as she awakens to her own true and holy violent nature, ultimately setting off to exact revenge on her attackers, the one thing her therapist forbade.
The film also stars Tahyna Tozzi, Jack Noseworthy and Joel de la Fuente, and based on the trailer, it looks rather seen-it-all-before, but Ms Williams is cute, so it may be worth a watch.
Julia is actually out now on DVD, so I may well check it out, especially since it has an 18-certificate and so few films do these days.
