Kill Switch, aka Redivider, centres around pilot Will Porter (Dan Stevens, who was brilliant in The Guest, and also took the lead opposite Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast), who battles to save his family and the planet after an experiment for unlimited energy goes wrong.
The trailer looks for a decent apocalyptic film, for a change, as the energy-sucking device shoots into the sky and then causes all kinds of problems, bringing vehicles down in random places. Okay, it’s far from original, but it looks to have enough to make a fun popcorn movie.
Kill Switch is released in the US on June 16th, and as of yet, there’s no UK release date, but I am looking forward to this.
