L.A. Noire is coming to the latest consoles, with 4K on PS4 Pro and Xbox One, plus some special features on Nintendo Switch, and today sees the launch of the trailer specific to the latter.
The game tells the tale of detective Cole Phelps’ rise through the LAPD ranks as he investigates a string of crimes in 1947 Los Angeles.
L.A. Noire is due out on November 14th on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, along with L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for HTC Vive, which features seven select cases rebuilt for VR. I wish there’d been an Oculus Rift version of that, as that’s the headset I have.
However, for Switch owners, you’ll be treated to a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles. In addition, there are contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work. We can’t wait to feel the rumble in the jungle* for this one!
(*Well, Los Angeles)
