“The disc will include both anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen and fullscreentransfers. Extras include deleted scenes (possibly a good form of the film?),featurettes and trailers.

Excitement factor: 0 out of 10. The first was a tolerable abomination andthis was just… an abomination. Must miss.”

Tonight sees the last episode of this second season. It’s had its moments andalso its stupid bits, but whatever happens there’s definitely going to bea third season next year and let’s hope the plot is more finely honed nexttime.

I was watching the BBC3 episodes but they didn’t show the finale, as usual,so I located it via another source and so today, not only is there a summaryof the penultimate episode, but also the finale for those who have alreadyseen it. This is distinctly marked “FINALE” so you cannot come across itby accident.

Don Estelle dies aged 70…

The actor and singer, Don Estelle, has died at the age of 70 in Rochdaleinfirmary after a long illness.

He starred as Lofty in It Ain’t Half Hot Mum, and also went to No.1in a duet with Windsor Davies, entitled Whispering Grass.
