Legendary TV crime shows THE BILL SERIES 4 VOLUME 2 (12) is released by Network Distributing on 2nd March 2009 in a two-disc DVD set.
Restructured into a half-hour format in 1988, THE BILL went from strength to strength storming to the top of the ITV ratings and remaining a top ten UK drama ever since.
Starring fan favourites Sgt Cryer (Eric Richard), WPC Ackland (Trudie Goodwin), Det Sgt Ted Roach (Tony Scannell) and Christopher Ellison as the hot-tempered DI Burnside.
This set contains 13 consecutive episodes of the half-hour series.

- Requiem:A man working to modernise the family flat finds more than he bargained for when he decides that the lounge needs a new fireplace.
- Trespasses:Investigating what he thinks is a cat trapped in a rubbish chute, Ramsey is appalled to find a new-born baby.
- Save the Last Dance for Me:Chief Insp. Conway is in charge of a stakeout to capture escaped prisoner Terry Bush.
- Runaround:Martella has to deal with a corpse and a family of excitable Italians, while a drunken bus driver leaves a trail of destruction in his wake.
- The Trap:Burnside sets a trap for an old antagonist, while an overheating CAD room sends Sergeant Penny into a crisis.
- Community Relations:Ramsey and Melvin use a garden shed as an observation post when they are tasked with keeping an eye on a lock-up garage.
- A Dog’s Life:Brownlow pressures Crier into speeding up his fly-tipping investigation when he is tackled on the subject by a local councillor.
- Trouble and Strife:Ramsey and Haynes are called to a domestic – Mrs. Mancini has beaten up her husband with a motorbike chain.
- Running Late:CID have an area of the Dock Industrial Estate under observation as they’ve been tipped off about a robbery on a security van.
- They Say We’re Rough:Stolen Army surplus brings the military police to Sun Hill, while Hollis has to try and deal with two angry motorists.
- Blue for a Boy:A domestic argument provokes a clash between Burnside and Frazer – and a crisis for Sun Hill.
- Chasing the Dragon:In the course of closing down a drugs ring, Haynes and Ramsey are involved in a car crash that seriously injures a child.
- The Coop:Ackland and Edwards are put off their takeaway when they uncover a shed full of rotting chicken corpses.
The DVD is out on March 2nd, it runs for 325 mins and retails for £19.99 on DVD.but is currently on Amazon at the link above for £14.69.
