Drink To Britain With Oz & James, On DVD In March
THEY WERE an odd couple who travelled through France in a classic Jaguar convertible; to California to sample the best wines the sunshine state had to offer?and bickered all the way. One?s a seasoned wine connoisseur, the other a less cultured beer drinking, fast car fanatic. But while wine expert Oz Clarke and Top Gear?s James May might be unlikely travelling companions, their last two journeys proved massive hits with viewers and now they?re back on home turf to Drink To Britain.
After learning all about wine in their first two series, Oz and James are back on home soil, travelling the length and breadth of the UK in an attempt to find a drink that defines Britain. Wedged into a classic Rolls Royce and a banged up Sprite caravan, the cramped conditions only give rise to more bickering. Things get worse for James as he discovers that Oz is as clued-up on beer, stout, cider, whisky and lager as he is about wine. But as James begins to air his knowledge, Oz soon struggles to keep the upper hand. This hilarious and endearing third helping of Oz and James?s latest escapades arrives on DVD as a two disc set on 2 March, 2009 courtesy of Acorn Media.
The title is out on March 16th 2009, it runs for 240 mins and retails for £19.99 on DVD,but is currently on Amazon at the link above for £12.98.
