Starring Brittany Murphy (Just Married, Little Black Book, Sin City) and Gabriel Mann (Buffalo Soldiers, Bourne Identity and Supremacy), THE RAMEN GIRL tells the heart-warming story of Abby (Murphy) an American woman lost and alone in an unknown city.
Stranded in Tokyo after breaking up with her boyfriend Abby finds comfort in the neighbourhood ramen shop. After observing the magical effects that ramen has on its customers Abby convinces herself that her true path in life is become a ramen chef.
She persuades the shops tyrannical, temperamental Japanese master chef to teach her the ancient art of making ramen and although their relationship is contentious and rocky, they both discover the most important ingredient of all each ramen bowl must contain a universe of feeling and truly be a gift from the heart.
An uplifting and hilarious comedy about those moments lost in translation, THE RAMEN GIRL is a treat of a movie for anyone who has ever doubted the ultimate power of love. This is definitely one dish you cant afford not to try.
The DVD is released on September 14th, it runs for 98 mins and retails for £12.99 on DVD,but is currently on Amazon at the link above for £4.98.
