Christianity: The First Two Thousand Years tells the epic story of how a wandering preachers teachings gave rise to a faith followed by millions. The first DVD charts the intertwined fates of Christianity and Rome, revealing how the once-persecuted faith became a state religion. Meanwhile, the second DVD takes the story onwards through another ten centuries of belief and conflict, as events such as the Crusades and the Reformation shaped the religion we know today.
