Second Sight announces a July 22nd release date for the DVD and videorelease of this cult BBC sci-fi series
From Doctor Who producer Barry Letts and writer Terrance Dicks comesMoonbase 3, originally aired in 1973. The series had two directors, KenHannam who also directed the 1981 TV version of The Day of the Triffidsand Christopher Barry who had directing duties on Doctor Who and TheTripods. Among the stars were British acting stalwart Donald Houston andRalph Bates, star of many Hammer horror films.
Moonbase 3 was another groundbreaking piece of science-fiction from theBBC, employing James Burke as scientific advisor, it was unique in itstechnical authenticity.
All six 50 minute episodes will be released as one double DVD pack andone double video pack at just £24.99 RRP and £19.99 RRP respectively,providing great value for money.
