Supermodel Bonnie-Jill Laflin looks set to change herall-American image to play action heroine Raven McCoyin the interactive dvd game Virtual Prey.

Lara Croft-lookalike Raven is a young woman outhiking who becomes the target of a relentless serialkiller. She is pursued through the Californiancountryside and atacked in all manner of waysincluding being buried alive and locked into a room with a groupof rabid pit bulls.

Former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and cover girlBonnie-Jill trained extensively with a US Navy SEALand a martial arts advisor fromThe Matrixto prepare for her gruelling fight sequences. The actress who is ahousehold name in the USA, may be familiar to UKaudiences from her roles in Ally McBeal and TheHoward stern show on Bravo.

Because of her background in modelling Bonnie-Jillwelcomed the chance to get down and dirty as Raven.“She wasn’t bothered about her appearance at all andloved all the fake blood and make up we sprayed herwith” said an insider.

CoverObviously Laflin’s portrayal of Raven has all theright moves but the outcome depends on the ability ofthe viewer. At various points he or she takes controlof Raven’s actions and decides if the characterprogresses to the next level or not.If the gamer issuccessful then Raven overcomes her opponent andproceeds to another level of pursuit.

However admirers of Bonnie-Jill who simply want tosee their idol in action had better be careful.Get itwrong and Raven meets a gruesome demise with specialmake up effects by artist Mark A. Bautista. If Raven iskilled three times then the killer hacks her to piecesand shows the video to her family… meaning theadventure starts again.

Intriguingly though the movie doesn’t begin at thesame point.Every viewing will have differentcircumstances and different challenges with certaintwists becoming clear only after exploring alloptions.
