E.T., the worlds’s most amicable alien andstar of BT’s latest advertising campaign, comes to life thanks to TigerElectronics. Just like the original star of the movie, Interactive E.T. has amoving neck, eyes, mouth and a glowing finger and heart.
Interactive E.T. has in-built artificial intelligence that allows him to learnabout his new surroundings on earth and adapt his behaviours based on how anowner interacts with him. As the owner and E.T. continue their adventures,their special relationship will evolve. As owners play with E.T. he will startto develop behaviours, customs and speak English. The more an owner interactswith E.T. the more he will say and do.
Set to hit retailers’ shelves in December, Interactive E.T. features the actualcharacter voice and speaks 400 words and 1000 phrases. He is fully animatedand interacts with his environment through a series of in-built sensors thatare located on both of his hands, his head, on his chest and in his body. Integralto gameplay is infra-red technology that allows Interactive E.T. to communicatewith other E.T.s. They will tell each other jokes, play games, tell storiesand chat.
Interactive E.T. is just one of three licenced characters available from Tiger,already launched are Gizmo andYoda.Interactive E.T. will be available in most toy stores and will be priced£34.99.
