The sensational Season 6 adventures of sci-fi series STARGATE SG-1 continuewith a guest star appearance from one of the fans’ favourites.
Season 6 episodes of the multi award-winning and critically acclaimed moviespin-off, STARGATE SG-1, continue on DVD on 28 April 2003.
With massive viewing figures on both Channel 4 and Sky, STARGATE SG-1 is nowone of the most popular sci-fi action shows on TV. And MGM’s latest DVD releasesare guaranteed to be must-have discs thanks to the return of favourite character,Daniel Jackson, as heart throb actor Michael Shanks reprises his role for aspecial episode, and Quantum Leap’s Dean Stockwell also guest stars.
Boasting big budget special effects and thrilling adventures, STARGATE SG-1SEASON 6 continues with exciting DVD extras and intriguing plots. Released on28 April is VOLUME 27 of the Stargate DVD (RRP £19.99) which features fourgreat episodes: Nightwalkers; Abyss; Shadowplay and The Other Guys.
The DVD release also has a host of added extras including the all-new DirectorSeries features which give a fascinating insight into the working day of thedirector on two episodes such as script development, prop and set creation. OnVOLUME 27, the director series focuses on the Shadow Play and The Other Guysplus there’s audio commentaries, a stills gallery for Season 6, promo trailers,and a fan spot.
There’s also a new recruit – Jonas Quinn (Corin Nemec) – who joins the existingteam (Richard Dean Anderson as Colonel Jack O’Neill, Amanda Tapping as MajorSamantha Carter, Christopher Judge as Teal’s) and begins to learn the ways ofthe SGC Stargate Command.
In Nightwalkers a scientist is killed shortly after he contacts Stargate Command,the remaining members of SG-1 investigate strange occurrences in a small townand learns that the community has a dark secret.
In Abyss Jack is captured by the Goa’uld, they repeatedly torture him to thepoint of death and then use the sarcophagus to revive him. Knowing that hissanity and life is at stake, Jack thinks he might be beyond saving when DanielJackson appears to him in his cell. But can Jack hold out long enough to berescued by SG-1?
