Promising Young Woman centres around Cassie (Carey Mulligan), a young woman (as the title suggests), who was traumatised by a tragic event in her past, and so now seeks out vengeance against men who cross her path, and making them pay, but she does seen a little ‘Fatal Attraction’-style nutjob.
That said, I love the look of this, along with the reworking of Britney Spears’ Toxic.
Promising Young Woman is released in the UK on April 17th.
