The complete Star Trek Next Generation TV Movies collection isavailable to own on DVD from 6th October. With digitally re-mastered picturequality and Dolby surround sound the 6 DVDs are presented in uniquecollectors edition packaging.
Presented here for the first time on DVD in their feature-length versions,these ten TV Movies see Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the StarshipEnterprise-D encounter enemies such as the Romulans, the Borg and theCardassians as well as bumping into old friends (Ambassador Spock).
In the finest episodes of The Next Generation, that confirmed the seriesplace in Sci-fi history, Picard is assimilated into the Borg collective(The Best of Both Worlds), tortured by the Cardassians (Chain ofCommand) and comes face to face with old foe Q (Encounter at Farpoint);Ambassador Spock returns to Star Trek in Unification, trying to re-unifythe Romulans and Vulcans and in Times Arrow, the crew is led back tothe 19th Century by the apparent death of their colleague Data.
This special, collectors edition, is presented in unique rubberisedpackaging, and contains a host of extras, including the feature-length StarTrek Deep Space 9 pilot episode Emissary, an in-depth Next Generationdocumentary (Journeys end – The Saga Of The Next Generation) and aselection of trailers from the Star Trek theatrical movies.
