SEGA ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP WITH PALM TO PROVIDE GAMES TO PALM WIRELESS HANDHELDCOMPUTERS

Sega Continues to Reinforce Mission to Bring Sega Games to a Variety ofInternet-Ready Devices.

London — (January 31, 2001) – Sega Corporation and Palm, Inc. today announced a strategic partnership in which Sega will bring itslegendary videogame content to Palm wireless handheld computers. Both online and offline videogames will be released for the Palm V and Palm VII sometime this year. Further details regarding this relationship will be forthcoming.

The Sega/Palm alliance further reinforces Sega’s mission to extend its solid line-up of innovative videogames to Internet devices andplatforms outside the videogame arena.
