Comments Tim Garner, UK Managing Director: “We are delighted with the award. We have worked hard over the last three yearrs to change the face of the toyindustry and we have succeeded. We have responded to the changing tastes ofchildren and have created toys and games that meet their wants and needs. Oursuccess has allowed us to employ additional staff to effectively manage ourincreasing business and to reinvest money in developing new and innovativetoys and games.”

The toy industry is a difficult market place. Children’s tastes are changingrapidly and toy manufacturers are competing against fashion and home entertainmentincluding music, gaming and videos. In order to succeed, toy manufacturerswill have to become more in-tune with children’s tastes.

Comments Tim Garner: “Tiger will continue to montior trends in children’sspending, leisure time and aspirations as well as changes in demographics, parents’ disposable income and much more. This will allow us to understand whatdrives and motivates the youth market to purchase a certain brand, toy, itemor merchandise.”

Tiger is set to enjoy another successful trading year and hopes to take thetitle for the same award for 2001.
