Queen Sono is a forthcoming South African crime drama series, created by Kagiso Lediga. It is Netflix’s first African original series, and it follows the story of a the titular secret South African clandestine agent who tackles criminal operations while dealing with crises in her personal life, and she’s played by Pearl Thusi (above).
There’s no actual proper trailer for it yet, but the premise sounds interesting, and below, you can see Ms Thusi talking about it, as well as the announcement trailer.
Queen Sono is released on Netflix on February 28th.
