Rememory – Trailer 1 – Peter Dinklage

Rememory Rememory – step forward this month’s “most weird as hell trailer”

The plot is thus: Gordon Dunn (Martin Donovan), a famed scientific pioneer, is mysteriously found dead just after the unveiling of his newest work, a groundbreaking device able to extract, record and play a person’s unfiltered memories.

After his death, Gordon’s reclusive wife, Carolyn (Julia Ormond), delves deeper into her own private world when Sam Bloom (Peter Dinklage) shows up claiming to be from Gordon’s past. With questionable motives he takes the machine and uses it to try and solve the mystery, beginning an investigation of memories that lead him down a path of guilt, grief, and betrayal to an unexpected answer.

I love the premise behind this, and while you expect films from Amazon and Netflix with more originality than Hollywood, Rememory shows that Google Play are now getting in on the act. It’s certainly a great time for movies!

And at first, I thought Martin Donovan was Kevin Johnson from Ozark, aka estate agent Sam Dermody. Perhaps someone can cast them as father and son in a film?

Rememory premiered on Google Play on August 24th, but doesn’t yet have any other outlet release dates.

Also stars: Anton Yelchin, Evelyne Brochu, Henry Ian Cusick, Carrie Anne Fleming
