Sherlock only ever runs for three episodes a series and so, after the first one airing on New Year’s Day before quickly moving to Sunday nights, the last episode, His Last Vow, airs this weekend, and a case of stolen letters leads Sherlock Holmes into conflict with Charles Augustus Magnussen.
The episode of written by Steve Thompson, it’s directed by Nick Hurranand stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Amanda Abbington, Ayçe Abana, Alan Bond, Jamie Jarvis and Lars Mikkelsen (Borgen) as Charles Augustus Magnussen.
The final episode airs this Sunday on BBC1 at 8.30pm. Watch the trailer below:
