Song One stars Anne Hathaway as Franny, a young woman who’s estranged from her family, and who returns home when her brother has an accident which puts her in a coma. Retracing his life as an aspiring musician, she tracks down his favorite musician, James Forester (Johnny Flynn – Detectorists, Scrotal Recall).
Against the backdrop of Brooklyn’s music scene, Franny and James develop an unexpected relationship and face the realities of their lives.
Song One also stars Mary Steenburgen, Ben Rosenfield, Gideon Glick and is directed by Kate Barker-Froyland, and looks as tedious as the day is long, so I won’t be listening to song one, two or any of those within.
