Spencer is the forthcoming movie starring Kristen Stewart as Diana, Princess of Wales, aka Lady Spencer, hence the title – and because they’re running out of names to give to films about the deceased princess.
Synopsis: During her Christmas holidays with the royal family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England, Diana decides to leave her marriage to Prince Charles.
Ms Stewart certainly looks the part (full pic below), but it’ll be interesting to see how she compares to Emma Corrin in The Crown Season 4, who was superb.
The film is directed by Pablo Larraín, written by Steven Knight (Locke, and also stars Sally Hawkins (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Tim Spall (Away) and Sean Harris (Mission Impossible: Fallout).
Spencer has yet got a confirmed release date, but then all release dates are moving about anyway.
