The Bad Batch doesn’t yet have much of a plot synopsis, so far only stating that it’s a dystopian love story set in a Texas wasteland amongst a community of cannibals.
Written and directed by Ana Lily Amirpour, there’s a large cast including Keanu Reeves, Jason Momoa, Giovanni Ribisi, Jim Carrey, Diego Luna and Suki Waterhouse, but I wasn’t wowed by this new trailer as it didn’t tell me a great deal about the film – same as the first one, and IMDB only lists a score of 6.2/10, so that doesn’t bode massively well, either.
Still, make of it what you will. The Bad Batch doesn’t yet have a release date in the UK, although the US get it on June 23rd.
