The Day Shall Come is a new movie from Chris Morris (Brass Eye, Jam, Four Lions), and as expected before I checked out the trailer, it already had me giggling away from the start.
The film centres around an impoverished preacher who brings hope to the Miami projects is offered cash to save his family from eviction. He has no idea his sponsor works for the FBI who plan to turn him into a criminal by fueling his madcap revolutionary dreams. So, it’s not wholly divorced from Four Lions, but still looks great fun.
The Day Shall Come is released in the UK on October 11th.
