The Dressmaker stars Kate Winslet as the glamorous Myrtle ‘Tilly’ Dunnage, who returns to her small town in rural Australia. With her sewing machine and haute couture style, she transforms the women and exacts sweet revenge on those who did her wrong.
Well, I nearly fell into a coma watching this trailer. It sounded potentially good, but oh dear, what a load of drippy nonsense. Enter Liam Hemsworth as Teddy McSwiney – and no doubt Tilly *will* enter him at some point, plus Hugo Weaving, Sarah Snook, Kerry Fox, Judy Davis, Caroline Goodall and Rebecca Gibney.
Based on Rosalie Ham‘s best selling novel, The Dressmaker will make all women wet their knickers on November 6th when it’s released in UK cinemas.
