The Gamechangers tells the struggle of Sam Houser’s (Daniel Radcliffe, right) legal feud against American lawyer Jack Thompson (Bill Paxton), over the morality of the Grand Theft Auto video game series.
I’ve loved these games from their incception, my favourite along the way being Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the PS2 – basically because of the ’80s music – even thought Grand Theft Auto III was the first title in the series to venture into 3D, but who can say no to Grand Theft Auto V running full-tilt on the PC? 🙂
This new one-off 90-minute drama is directed by Owen Harris (Kill Your Friends, Black Mirror: Be Right Back) and written by James Wood (Rev, Freezing, Ambassadors), and also stars Joe Dempsie, Lex King and Alex McGregor.
Below are two videos. Second is the trailer for this drama, but first comes a brief interview with its star, Daniel Radcliffe, best known for the Harry Potter series, but who also excelled in the recent comedy/horror Horns, co-starring with the spell-binding Juno Temple.
If you’re looking forward to this as much as I am, then you’ll be pleased to learn The Gamechangers is on tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC2.
