The Insititute is based in 19th century Baltimore, where a girl stricken with grief from her parents’ untimely death, voluntarily checks herself into the Rosewood Institute, and is subjected to bizarre and increasingly violent pseudo-scientific experiments in personality modification, brainwashing and mind control, she must escape the clutches of the Rosewood and exact her revenge.
Directed by James Franco and Pamela Romanowsky, the former of whom also stars with Pamela Anderson, Topher Grace, Josh Duhamel, Lori Singer, Eric Roberts, Tim Blake Nelson and Beth Grant, this looks very bizarre but also very intriguing and one to watch.
Released on March 3rd in the US, but there’s no UK date for The Institute just yet.
