My BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW of THE INVESTIGATION OF LUCY LETBY on NETFLIX!

The Investigation of Lucy Letby The Investigation of Lucy LetbyThe murderer of EIGHT babies, and attempted murderer of TEN more – Let her fucking rot!

When arrested, her Mum can be heard telling Letby that she “knows she didn’t do it“, and Letby states “no comment” even after stating she DID do it, and on purpose. Additionally, she even emailed one of the police officers involved, to to ask when SHE was going to be spoken to, after her friends were.

Similarly, she kept confidential documents from the hospital at home, including those with details from the babies she killed, claiming she “accidentally” took them home, despite them being in chronological order AND that there were 250 of them!

So, trophies, in that case.

A.I. interviewee Maisie… Bizarre.

Along the way, we also hear from Maisie, her old Uni friend saying how things she should’ve had expert witnesses in her defence trial. Erm… she confessed in writing! GO TO HELL!

I then thought: Erm, you do realise that EVERYONE will see you shilling for her? Are you mental?

Oh, but then next to her talking, comes the words “digitally anonymised”… so this is an AI representation of someone and a voice, but NOT the actual person, nor their voice. Fuck, that’s wild, as she’s exactly like a human, but now I know she’s not, I can see some slight tells, but only if I’m paying attention. This is definitely the ‘uncanny valley’ that you sometimes come across.

However, wouldn’t it have been better to just hire an actress for those interviews?

The same is also the case for a lady whose child was killed by Letby. Am *I* AI? EEK!

Why are interviews more like the top picture, these days? UGH!

One thing that DOES annoy me though, and it affects so many TV documentaries these days, on ALL channels. Apart from the fact that no-one seems to understand how to simply film in 16:9 anymore, and have to turn into a Cinemascope entertainment piece, they always position the interviewee, like the guy above, on either the far-left or far-right of the screen, and pointing towards the edge of your screen. Why the fuck can’t they just sit on a chair, facing towards the offscreen interviewer, so the person onscreen is looking more towards the centre?

Oh, at least they DID do this, for this chap, but why do the first camera angle?

Ultimately for the content, though, The Investigation Of Lucy Letby is interesting, but doesn’t really tell us a huge amount that we don’t know already, although it’s still fascinating to see the police interview footage from their investigation.

The Investigation Of Lucy Letby is on Netflix from today.

It’s unlikely to be released on Blu-ray or DVD, but other stuff is, and is on the New DVD, Blu-ray, 3D and 4K releases UK page.
