The Last Jedi. It’s the subtitle for Star Wars Episode VIII. The film directed by Looper and Breaking Bad‘s Rian Johnson. And starring Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Harrison Ford… maybe. Then Christmas will see the Young Han Solo movie. Then Episode IX will follow in Christmas 2019.
“But what does the title mean? What’s the significance of that red stuff round the title?”, ask the fanbois. Does it matter? You’ll find out before the year ends; can’t you wait?
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is released in the UK on December 15th 2017, although they’ll probably move it back to the Thursday (14th) like they did with The Force Awakens and Rogue One.
PS. The Star Wars Episode IX subtitle is “Flange”.
