My BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW of THE STOLEN GIRL on ITV!

The Stolen Girl The Stolen Girl is the first drama to transition from Disney+ to ITV prime time, after a deal was made, although don’t expect Star Wars series on day one, since this Channel 5-style nonsense was aired in April 2025.

There’s no expense spent on the special FX as Elisa Blix (Denise GoughH Is For Hawk) is shown on the beach, scrolling through her phone, and all the sunlight bounces off it because they didn’t CGI in a fake mobile screen.

However, after she leaves her daughter, Lucia, with new friend Rebecca Walsh (Holliday GraingerMickey 17) in her big posh house, the cleaner has no idea who they’re talking about, and states it’s a holiday let which is otherwise empty.

Hence, her girl has been stolen. Well… Taken has already been used.

Add in some old tropes used in previous dramas, such as journalist Selma (Ambika ModThis Is Going To Hurt) sneaking around, acting really oddly for the sake of it, and the plot thinnens!

Still, at least it’s better than watching a Z-lister fart around on a pretend jungle set. And I can’t care whether or not the girl comes back, although without seeing it until the end, I’d bet my house that everything ends up fine.

The Stolen Girl begins tonight on ITV at 9pm, then continues weekly at the same time, probably until it flops and ITV take it off-air mid-series, as they did with The Hunting Sisters. Still, that was all online from day one, anyway.

The whole series is now available on ITVX.

It’s not yet available to pre-order on Blu-ray or DVD, but when it is, it will be listed on the New DVD, Blu-ray, 3D and 4K releases UK page.
