OMI climbs from No.2 to No.1, in the UK Top 100 Music Chart w/e May 9th 2015, with Cheerleader, and it’s a rather slow dance track with over-use of auto-tune. Terrible.
As such, Wiz Khalifa Feat. Charlie Puth drops to No.2 with See You Again, and it’s a drippy ballad from Fast And Furious 7. Bleah! Mucho vomito! In fact, I think I’d rather hear the theme from '80s kids TV show Wizbit!
There are two new entries in the Top 10 – one at No.3 for Carly Rae Jepsen with I Really Like You. But does she have his number and will she call him or not? And the other is at No.10 for Alesso Feat. Roy English with Cool. I bet it’s not.
Highlight of this week is, surprisingly, the above song from Carly Rae Jepsen, since it features a surprise appearance from Tom Hanks! It’s far better than the piss-poor James Corden trying to get mileage out of him on his new show, back in March.
