UK Top 100 Music chart summary & my views w/e January 18th 2014

January 18th 2014Climbing back up to No.1 in the UK Top 100 Music Chart for w/e January 18th 2014 is Pharrell with Happy and it’s a much more deserving top-slot track than most in recent weeks.

As such, Pitbull Feat. Ke$ha drops to No.2 with Timber, a track which is one of the most predictable dance tracks I’ve ever heard. The ‘country’ aspect reminds me of the appalling “Cotton-Eyed Joe”, too. Oh dear.

There’s nothing else to get excited about in the charts as things are still slow to get going this early into 2014.
