UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e August 6th 2011

This week, JLS went straight to the top slot with She Makes Me Wanna. Sounding very much like Chris Brown’s “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah” in places, this pop song isn’t entirely without merit but it’s also far from original.

Still, their teenage girl market will love the fact that the guys bare their chests. Funny how we never get female pop stars going topless…

As such, a group of 12-year-olds called The Wanted dropped to No.2 with Glad You Came. Well, I’m not glad I listened. Summer anthem… blah blah blah. People on the beach in the video… blah blah blah.
