UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e December 22nd 2016

UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e December 22nd 2016 Staying at No.1 in UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e December 22nd 2016 is Clean Bandit Feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie with Rockabye, and it sounds like a very average summer hit that you’d hear in Spain, although it’s November. And why has Anne-Marie forgotten her top?

There are two new entries – One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson plus Steve Aoki go in at No.2 with Just Hold On, while X-Factor winner Matt Terry has no chance of a Christmas No.1 with When Christmas Comes Around. Last year’s winner, who I’ve forgotten, only managed No.9 in the Xmas week.

It’s interesting to note, also, that usual big hitters Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift can only manage No.16 on a duet!

There’s a number of charity singles getting a release for that coveted Christmas No.1 slot, but probably the best is Paul Carrack bringing back the track he sang with Mike + The Mechanics – The Living Years, here with the backing of The London Hospices Choir.:
