UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e June 11th 2011

This week, Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer retain the No.1 slot with Give Me Everything. It’s a dance track that I find a complete turn-off, however. Anyway, if it’s your bag, then you can see the video here.

As such, it stops Aloe Blacc’s I Need A Dollar from getting to No.1, as it rises from 3 to 2.

Meanwhile, there are new entries in the Top 40 for:

  • 6 Alex Gaudino feat. Kelly Rowland – What A Feeling
  • and… er… that’s it.
Lower entries outside the Top 40 include:
  • 85 All Time Low – I Feel Like Dancin’
  • 93 Linkin Park – Iridescent
  • 100 The Wombats – Techno Fan
In the album charts, Lady Gaga retains the top slot with Born This Way, keeping Adele’s 21 at No.2, with 19 staying at No.3. The remaining new entries come from:
  • 4 The Pierces – You & I
  • 6 Seasick Steve – You Can´t Teach An Old Dog New Tricks
  • 10 Status Quo – Quid Pro Quo
  • 13 Black Stone Cherry – Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea
  • 24 Death Cab For Cutie – Codes And Keys
