Xbox Games With Gold August 2021: These games have now been announced for August 2021 and are as follows: On Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, there’s Darksiders III and Yooka-Laylee. The classic games being made available on Xbox One via backwards compatibility are Lost Planet 3 and Garou: Mark of the Wolves.
To claim these, you’ll need an Xbox Live Gold membership, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which also includes access to over 100 high-quality games with Xbox Game Pass including first-party exclusives day and date.

But what are these games about and when are they available exactly?
Darksiders III (Xbox One: August 1st-31st): In this hack-and-slash action adventure, assume the role of Fury, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in her quest to hunt down the Seven Deadly Sins. Garou: Mark of the Wolves (Backwards compatibility to Xbox One – August 16th-31st): As the last entry of the classic Fatal Fury series, select over a dozen different fighters to participate in the King of Fighters: Maximum Mayhem tournament. Featuring the T.O.P. fighting system, and a defense and counter mechanic, prove to your opponent that legends don’t die…they get better!
