Polaroid – Trailer 1 – Kathryn Prescott

Polaroid Polaroid cameras. Remember them? Take a picture and wait for it to come out, so it’s very ’70s and early ’80s, hence why it’s classed as a vintage item in this film, as high school loner, Bird Fitcher (Kathryn Prescott, most recently seen as baddie terrorist Amira in 24: Legacy), stumbles upon one of these. She soon learns that the camera houses a terrible secret: whoever has their picture taken by it meets a tragic and violent end. The girl and her friends must survive one more night as they race to solve the mystery of the haunted Polaroid before it kills them all. Spooky! 🙂

Yes, it’s another film that looks very Final Destination-like and is directed by Lars Klevberg, who previusly made a short 15-minute film in 2015 for this, prior to the main feature. No doubt that’ll end up on the eventual Blu-ray and DVD.

Polaroid ‘develops’ (ho, ho, ho) on August 25th in the US, but as of yet there’s no UK release date.

Writer: Blair Butler
Also stars: Madelaine Petsch, Javier Botet, Katie Steven, Grace Zabriskie, Mitch Pileggi, Shauna MacDonald
