Throughout the ’90s, 2000s, and 2010s, countless classic games have been released across a variety of platforms, from PC to PlayStation. The best part about this is that it doesn’t matter if you weren’t when they were originally released, as you can still revisit all of the classic games today.
Whether you’ve played these games a long time ago or never heard of them before, here are 5 nostalgic games of the past that you need to replay ASAP.
1. GTA V (2013)
If you speak to most people in the gaming world and say “Hey, what do you think the best game of all time is?”, they’re probably going to respond with a simple answer: GTA V.
It’s crazy to think about, but this game was actually released back in 2013. It only feels like yesterday, but the truth is that it V is now officially a decade old! Interestingly, a lot of industry analysts are predicting that GTA VI will release around 2025. Therefore, now is the best time to get back into GTA V and go down memory lane one more time. Remember, there are two game modes in it:

- Online
In the story mode, you get to play as Trevor, Michael, and Franklin as you go on countless different missions in the fictional city of Los Santos. On top of this, there’s also the highly popular online mode, also known as GTA Online. Here’s what you can do when playing GTA Online:

4. WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain (2003)
A common complaint amongst wrestling fans is that “they don’t make video games like they used to”.
This is definitely true — which is why you should revisit WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain. It has the greatest wrestling roster ever seen in a video game and the gameplay is unbelievably fun.
5. Resident Evil 4 (2005)
Resident Evil 4 is a must-play for any fans of horror games.
If you weren’t around back in 2005, it’s recommended you revisit the original RE4 or play RE4 Remake (2023). For a true nostalgic trip, though, you should definitely try and get your hands on the original game.
