The sixth and final series of the show is out now, giving fans the closing chapter of this excellent show.

Foundation

Foundation is based on Isaac Asimov’s award-winning novels and follows a group of exiles on a massive adventure to preserve humanity and restore civilisation. A fascinating storey about humans living on planets all throughout the galaxy under the reign of the Galactic Empire. As the galaxy collapses around them, Dr Hari Seldon and his faithful followers struggle to maintain their culture.

So far, Foundation is on its first season, having first aired in September 2021. There are eleven episodes to get through, and the entire series can be watched on Apple TV. It has great ratings from critics, with the story, in particular, being praised.



Arcane

Arcane is an animated Sci-Fi/fantasy series with steampunk elements. It’s actually based on the popular MOBA game League of Legends, but even if you’ve never played this game, it’s still worth watching. It was first released in November 2021 and is exclusively available on Netflix, where you can currently watch all ten episodes of the first season.

Arcane investigates the delicate balance between Piltover’s opulent, utopian metropolis and Zaun’s seedy, oppressed underworld. Many of Runeterra’s most creative minds call these cities home, and they are known as the “city of progress.” However, the development of hextech, a method for anybody to control magical energy, puts the world in danger. The plot covers the origin story of two legendary League champions, as well as the mysterious force that affects their world.

The Silent Sea

Gong Yoo, Bae Doona, and Lee Joon feature in the recent South Korean sci-fi mystery thriller The Silent Sea, shown on Netflix. The series is based on Choi Hang-Yong’s short film The Sea of Tranquillity, which he wrote and directed in 2014. Choi Hang-Yong will also helm the series. A space exploration expedition to the moon is the subject of the series.
