C-Word poster for The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2? Really? Well, for anyone with nothing better to think about, perhaps, but to anyone with a brain it simply says: “100 Days until The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2”
However, since it was mentioned, I can see that part of the second zero in ‘100’ is obscured, like a dirty number plate on Channel 5’s Police Interceptors, by the word ‘until’, but it’s clearly accidental as it’s not like this film needs any additional publicity.
Besides, the only C-word I know is “Crikey!”
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 brings the Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) story to a close, and after being symbolised as the “Mockingjay”, she and District 13 engage in an all-out revolution against the autocratic Capitol and the dastardly President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
The first film and Catching Fire were worth a look, but Mockingjay Part 1 really felt lacking for me. I hope this finale makes up for that. At least this trailer shows The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 will be a damn sight better than Part 1.
The film is again directed by Francis Lawrence, who took over the franchise with the second film, and also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Natalie Dormer, Michelle Forbes and Prison Break‘s Robert Knepper.
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 is released in the UK on November 20th.
